Domingo de Ramos

Quihubole amigazos!

Hello!! How have you been? I hope you’ve had a great week, you’ve been in my prayers and I know that your Heavenly Father loves you. Happy Palm Sunday!

What a great time of the year and a great focus on this time. I love talking all about Jesus Christ’s love and His healing power. It’s been a great week for that reason, among many others!!

I hope, of course, it’s been a great week for you too and that you’ve made a conscience effort to help other people find healing through the Savior. He will heal you and those you share with!

🇲🇽

– This past Tuesday, after a great and a different and a fresh MLC, and some homemade Hermana Brady Lasagna, we went on exchanges! I’ve always wanted to go on exchanges with Elder Scoffield and it was fantastic, he is an incredible missionary and an incredible person. I learned sooo much from him and we had an amazing time inviting everyone to come have an experience with Jesus Christ! We finished it off with eight tacos al pastor, two tacos for the price of one.

– We did a tonnn of practices this week during interviews and it was super fun to see all the styles and skills of so many missionaries. Between sets of practices, Elder Ruggieri and I made some improv duets on the guitar and piano which was way fun. None of them are polished but we got some hymns down and it was littt

– We went on exchanges on Thursday as well to La Presa, and I went with Elder Wolf!! It was a packed couple of hours, so there wasn’t quite as much opportunity to invite the whole world to come to Sacrament Meeting and meet their Savior, but it still went super well and I learned a ton from Elder Wolf! He is a super hard worker, very diligent, and brings the Spirit everywhere he goes! It was awesome. We finished it off with another round of 2×1 tacos al pastor and an ice cold Coke, so all in all it was a fantastic day!

– On Saturday we had some good time to work in our area and meet a ton of people and some families! This week we will hopefully make more dedicated time to help people listen to the words of living prophets and apostles of Jesus Christ!! I love talking to families and promising them that they can find more peace and joy in their family through the Savior! I am so grateful I understand that truth and get to share it with other people!

That was about all the notable stuff for the week! It went by quickly and I am so excited this upcoming week to prepare for General Conference, learn from the words of the servants of the Lord and help other people do the same! This is such an amazing work and I am so grateful to be serving the Lord!

I don’t even know where to get started with my reading this week in Alma. Alma 23-26 is just full of soooo much good stuff that it was almost impossible for me to narrow done to something specific to try and focus on. Anyways, here is my best attempt!

I particularly love Alma 26 because it applies sooo much to the work of gathering Israel and to missionary work! This week, verse 27 stuck out to me the most, even though it doesn’t have a ton to do with missionary work, instead, its about life in general:

“Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success.”

Isn’t that so true of life? Things are so hard and may soon get so hard that we are ready to quit and throw in the towel and be done with it all. But, the Lord knows who we are and knows our breaking point, and He hopes we are patiently trusting in Him, or as President Oaks recently said, “waiting in the Lord”, and He will give us the blessings we need.

Remember the commandment to let your heart be constantly in prayer unto Him. Remember that He really does hear every prayer and has perfect timing and perfect love. Remember that healing will come through Jesus Christ.

I am so beyond thankful for my Savior’s love for me, for the healing I have found through Him, and especially for His Atonement that lets me access that power. All the wrong things of this life will be made right through the Savior in His due time. I know that promise is real and I’ve seen it come to pass.

To paraphrase an series od incredible invitations that Elder Holland once extended in arguably my favorite of his talks: Pray without ceasing. Ask for God’s angels to bare you up. Let will be your reason. Cultivate and be where the Spirit of the Lord is.

I love you so much and I know the Lord loves you and will never forget or abandon you. You are His reason and He is waiting to help you!! Be patient and let His timing and will prevail as you earnestly seek to continue improving your relationship and love for Him. It will bring so many miracles to you life!

Go make the world a better place. Go make someone smile and change their day. Go choose joy and choose to spread it to everyone else!

I love you! I’ll pray for you. Talk soon!
