Que onda mis fregones!!
Well, this past week was just amazing once again, so I hope it was the same for you!! Amazing mission weeks are just so consistent. I hope its the same thing for Salt Lake City weeks or wherever it may be!
🇲🇽
– After sending my email last week I got to hop on the Zoom call for my manito Logan’s mission call opening!! So excited for him and for the Santa Ana El Salvador mission. Heck yeah!! Échale ganas mi crack, la vas a romper.
– Andddd the next day was Liam’s birthday!! Back to back touchdowns this week. Happy birthday little bro, I love you and I’m going to be there for the next one!
– On Wednesday we went to the temple with the Bradys and just got some amazing revelation, it was and always is so special. I am very certain that the Lord knows us and loves us, and that He actually does answer prayers. Always in His own timing! I am so grateful for the temple, please go soon! We saw Elder Eyre as we left, who stopped to talk for a second and it was awesome! Such a friendly and happy person and a Spiritual giant!
– We went on two sets of exchanges this week and I learned a lot both times! I love to see how other missionaries think and work and learn how I can improve.
– Other than that we had a lot of transfer meetings, we helped a sweet old lady cement some wrecked interior walls in her house as a service project with our district, and had lunch with the Bradys! We also got sent to an area one night to walk around with our phones in hand to see if we would get robbed or looked at weird. One of the stranger assignments I’ve been given. And on Sunday at our member meal we got to grill up the steaks!
So yes, it was an awesome and very packed week!! It’s so crazy that this transfer is already over this week, time is moving by way too quickly.

I think the this week’s reading in the Book of Mormon can take at least partial credit for the quality of the week.
It’s very hard for me to choose some favorite verses from Mosiah 26 this week to share, so please do me a favor and go read the whole thing! It’s full of some goodness so get ready.
Alma, like everyone, has a question. The context and story behind his question is interesting and applicable to today, but for this week’s email, we’ll just leave it with the fact that he needs some help and advice to solve a pretty big issue that he has no idea what to do about.
Here’s what Alma does when he needs advice:
“He went and inquired of the Lord what he should do concerning this matter, for he feared that he should do wrong in the sight of God.”
Boom! He went and asked the Lord. But he didn’t just ask…
“And it came to pass that after he had poured out his whole soul to God, the voice of the Lord came to him.”
He asked with his whole sould, then he got his answer. I love that so much. And here is his answer!
“Thou art blessed because of thy exceeding faith in the words alone of my servant.”
And…
“Thou art my servant; and I covenant with thee that thou shalt have eternal life; and thou shalt serve me and go forth in my name, and shalt gather together my sheep.”
Oh. Man. This chapter is just so good!! If we can exercise faith, and if we can desire to follow the Lord, and give our whole hearts and even our whole souls, He covenants with us to give eternal life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is really all about where our hearts are set, who or what they are set on, and how we plan on getting there.
Choose your next step! Pour your whole soul into it and have faith in the Lord’s timing. He actually does have a plan and it really does include you!
I love you so much. Go do good things and go make someone else’s week amazing. I know you’ll make your own week great too!!
Talk soon!
