Hey everyone!!
Hope everybody has had a great week! This week was awesome so I hope y’all are doing so good too! I’m low on time so I’ll try to get it done quick for ya!

– We just had mission wide Elders Pday and we ran some flag football for a couple hours with ties, and it was so so fun, most definitely got sunburnt but it was a dope day. I are 3 burritos in bewtween games and it is making my stomach a lil churny… but we had fun
– We will get to go with Elder Montoya of the Mexico area presidency tomorrow for MLC which is going to be so so cool and I can’t wait! Even better, later this month we will have a multi-mission conference with D. Todd Chistopherson and I actually cannot wait, he is one of my favorite speakers and it’s going to be dopeee!
– We had Zone Conference this week and I think it was the best one I’ve been to yet! Zone Conference is always us with half the mission and the messages from President were really awesome about being obedient, trusting our Heavenly Father, and giving everyone we meet the chance to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was an amazing Zone Conference, and the food made us all sick but it was so much fun!
– Finallyyyyy got over being sick (I think, knock on wood) and we had a week full of so many miracles, we have a bunch of families that are progressing really well and a ton of potential here right now so I am so excited! The Lord is blessing us with tons of miracles here!!
– We ate a ton of amazing al pastor tacos this week, I think almost once a day, they are so so good and this area is just really fun
– We went on a bunch more member lessons with Angel, a recently returned missionary and it was tons of fun, we saw tons of miracles and it was just a really great week!
– In Pueblo San Juan de Aragon here in our area they do a special celebration every year for Cinco de Mayo where they shoot off tons of fireworks, blanks, and guns, during all ours of the day, and for a couple days it sounded like one endless thunderstorm here. We also had a rock band play outside our windows on Saturday night until 4 in the morning, needless to say it’s been loud while we try to sleep but the parties are fun and we got a ton of free food!! Generally stayed out of Pueblo but it sounded like a good time and I liked seeing people dressed up real French carrying around rifles
That’s about how the week went! We were both really sick for awhile (really the whole mission is pretty sick) but we saw a ton of miracles and are feeling better so even better! Great week this week!

Here’s a couple scriptures I liked this week, both from Zone Conference and my personal study. I’ll try to cut it down to just my favorites so this doesn’t get too long, here we go!
One of my new favorite verses, the Lord speaking to missionaries in Doctrine and Covenants 88: 81
“Behold, I sent you out to testify and warn the people, and it becometh every man who hath been warned to warn his neighbor.”
I love that verse so much. It’s not just the missionaries responsibilities, or the job of the bishop, but alllllll of our equal responsibility to warn the people. I think it’s so interesting that the Lord uses the word warn. That testifies of the importance of spreading the Gospel of salvation to everyone we can meet so that they can choose whether or not to choose Jesus Christ. I think the world is a nuts enough place, especially right now, that warn is a good word to use. It’s our responsibility to share and warn about the coming of the Savior to everyone!
And now, some great verses of warning from King Benajmin, in Mosiah 4:
“And finally, I cannot tell you all the things whereby ye may commit sin; for there are divers ways and means, even so many that I cannot number them. But this much I can tell you, that if ye do not watch yourselves, and your thoughts, and your words, and your deeds, and observe the commandments of God, and continue in the faith of what ye have heard concerning the coming of our Lord, even unto the end of your lives, ye must perish. And now, O man, remember, and perish not.“
Well, sorry for a bit of a
verse there, but I think that’s a great warning. The Gospel isn’t just a one and done thing, it’s a deal for every minute of every day for the rest of our lives. We choose whether to follow in the faith and to follow the Lord, or to stop progressing and “perish”, or rather just suffer the regret of our actions. Thank goodness we get to choose.

I also just love the way King Ben says basically there are too many ways you could sin, just be smart because I think too often we just focus on the written law and try to skirt around things and use excuses with God. The good news is we can always keep progressing every day to follow Christ and come closer to Him! Let’s all take on the responsibility to warn our neighbor and to help all prepare for the second coming of Jesus Christ!
I love you all and thats all I got for this week, but I’m keeping you in my prayers as always and I’m so grateful for you! Take care of yourself out there this week and go explore something cool out in the wild, and even better, send me a picture of it! There’s some beautiful things out there that God has created!
I love you all, have a great week, and we will talk soon!
