Taco Week

Quihubo chavalos!

What is up everyone! How’s it going? Tell me all about your week and a miracle you saw. I want to hear it!

Alright this time I actually am low om time so I’ll keep it short. Promise.

🌇

– Heard about all the crazy stuff going on in Mexico, the good news is we are very far from any of that in CDMX. Everything is going great, but keep all the affected people and their families in your prayers please!

– Zone Conferences were this week and it was amazing! I learned so many different things both days and the Spirit really spoke to me, it was awesome. I am so grateful for leaders that love and serve us so much! The tacos has some explosive side effects though 😬

– Gave a blessing to one of the Sister missionaries in our ward this week and it was a super spiritual experience for me. I am so thankful for the restoration of the power of God given to bless His children on earth. I feel so blessed and so thankful for the knowledge that God still lives and that miracles continue today.

– We ran back and forth between our house and the office a few times this week to wash baptismal (jumpsuits? Clothing? Overalls?) and saw some greaaat sunsets. Went up on the roof a few times to take some pictures. I absolutely love it here.

– Hermana Brady made some delicious food for our office meeting and we had a great time laughing and planning some exciting stuff! I always am learning from them.

We had a great and packed week, it absolutely flew by and I can’t seem to believe today was already pday again. Time is going by way too fast out here but I am absolutely loving every second!

King Benjamin drops some amazing teachings, and I love the affect that it has on his people. Here’s what they say, after he finishes teaching in Mosiah 5:

“Yea, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us; and also, we know of their surety and truth, because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which has wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually.”

What a powerful change that the words of a Prophet can bring upon his people! This chapter mentions a lot the change that occurs in the hearts of the people when they make the covenant to take upon them the name of Jesus Christ.

This verse is that perfect example. They had no more desire to do evil or to sin, because they had been changed through the power of Christ. They took on His name and determined to represent Him.

So, whatever your weakness or your bad habit or your sin is, this week, take the name of Christ upon you. Remember the greatness, power, mercy, and love that you represent and who’s name you carry with you! I promise that you can experience such a change of heart that you will have no more desire to do whatever your weakness or habit may be.

I love you all so dang much. Go make it an amazing week and remember who you represent, and how you’ll represent Him! He loves you even more and will help change your heart.

Go be greatness! Change lives! Go spread joy. I love you!
