What’s goin’ on chilangos!!

I hope everyone is doing amazing, its already Monday! What! That week went by really fast, it was packed!

So what’s up? Everyone getting ready for Thanksgiving? Mannnn what a great holiday, President and Sister Brady are going to help us celebrate this year in Zone Conference. Heck yeah.

Anyways, I hope you’re doing great! I love you! I’ve been praying for you. In case most of you want to lose some time reading a little bit about a rather unspecial week….

✨️

I’ll try and keep it quick.

– I’ve been doing a deep dive into Tabernacle Choir music while I study, and hey, Shenandoah is suuuuch a good song by them. I love it and I’ve listened to it so many times. If the Sacred Music app had a yearly rewind, pretty confident that would take top spot as my most listened to song. Go give it a listen!

– I’m not sick anymore!! Thank you for the prayers, I feel fantastic! And it definitely wasn’t the tacos, we have since gone back and I haven’t gotten sick! Heck yeah. Thanks!! I love you all!

– On Saturday we finally had some more time to work, and we actually found some really great people close to our house with a lot of potential, so I have a ton of hope! This area is crazy, it has a little bit of everything. We have the Instituto Politécnico Nacional in our area, three malls, a solid hill, lots of fun stuff. There is so much good food here so hopefully I’ll finally be able to put on some pounds here soon woo!

– Yesterday we went to lunch with the Gutiérrez family at their house, and wow. Great examples of high success and dedication to the gospel. They absolutely treated us yesterday and gave us each a delicious ribeye steak and a new york strip. Dang. I’ve been praying that they’ll recieve countless blessings for that meal, it was sooo good and man I almost started forgetting how dang stinking good a big old steak is. Mannnn. Hoping we get to eat again soon with the Gutiérrez family soon!

– Evelyn, Ian, and America all got baptized in Valle Ceylán!! What a miracleeee and what a cool story. I am so so proud of them and so excited! I’m absolutely certain that Heavenly Father prepares the hearts of His children to receive the gospel. That family has such strong testimonies and already invites all their family and friends to the gospel! What! Thats so amazing!

I think that’s abouttt that for the week! We had tons of meetings, and my favorite one was definitely meeting the new missionaries. They come out here with a fire behind them ready to preach the gospel and its so inspiring and motivating to watch them work so hard out of the gate! Makes me want to be more diligent. I learned a lot this week, it was a great one!

📖

I have kept on studying the words of Christ to the people in the Americas this week from the Book of Mormon. Sooo good. In fact, that’s where our scripture of the transfer comes from!

“And it shall come to pass, that whoso repenteth and is baptized in my name shall be filled; and if he endureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world.”

I love the way that Jesus literally lines up the steps for us. Sometimes we make it too complicated and go so deep that we lose the value of the real focus.

Faith, repentance, living the covenants of baptism, living worthily of the Holy Ghost, and enduring in each of those four is all Jesus Christ really asks of us. He promises to hold us guiltless. Heck! I certainly didn’t win that over and as much as I want to, I’m certain I never will be able to!

All of us, literally every one, have our fair share of mistakes. We actually have a ton of them. It’s impossible for us to return to God’s presence in that case. But, if we just try, even try, to follow Jesus Christ, He promises to hold us guiltless before God at the last day. Meaning, He’ll take upon Himself the responsibility. Man! I want that so bad. I need it, in fact. Don’t we all!!

So, put in a little more work on yourself this week. We all have to do it and we always have to do it. Everyone has habits they don’t like. Sit down today, make a plan with yourself, and fix it! Your Savior will magnify you and if you keep on working at it for the rest of this life, He will hold you guiltless.

And for that, this week, I am so thankful!!

Anywho, I sure do love you all so much! I hope you’ve had an amazing week and I hope you have an amazing upcoming week and that every week is just even better than the last! Yes!

Remember, you are in my prayers, you’re not alone, and I love you! Go make some good happen out there. The Lord needs you!

I love you! Talk soon!
