Yooo how’s it going everyone!! Hope everyone has had a great week and a great month and a great year! What’s going on?

– This week was great and full of some super spiritual meetings, which is always awesome!! MLC brought lots of new ideas and plenty of changes and we learned all about how to recognize, invite, and follow the Spirit. It was so cool! Its also so awesome to see the drive in young DLs and humbling to see the testimonies of the new missionaries who are just excited to be here. I love missionary work so much and it was a great week to learn more about it!
– On Thursday we went on divisions with La Presa and I got to go with Elder Guzman!! That man is a legend and I’ve wanted to go on exchanges with him for a long time, he is so cool!! We both learned a ton and saw a lot of miracles, I loved learning from his testimony and getting to know him better.
– Went and visited Elder Wolf in the hospital and we got to chat with them for awhile which was fun, he’s out and feeling better!! All three of us non-sickies laughed out loud when he said “como que otra vez” after the nurse told him he was going to need to flip over for an injection in the hindquarter. We left the room before she threatened us with one. Sorry for laughing nurse lady.
– Our diehard Broncos fan, English student, lawyer friend Arturo is the best! He initially was interested in the church to learn English, but he’s loved Jesus so much and says the peace he feels at church can’t come from anyone but Him. Wow, he is just so elect!! Ever since he accepted the invitation to get baptized this upcoming Sunday (throw up a prayer for him!) he has been inviting everyone in English class to come to church on Sundays and get baptized. He is such a miracle and his testimony of the Savior and when he shared his experience after taking the Sacrament almost brought me to tears. I absolutely love this work.
– We had extra time to get out and work on Sunday and we met some amazing families!! President’s invitation to work as much as possible on Sundays was awesome, we got invited to two birthday parties, ate four tacos, and met a ton of super cool people. This week’s sports night and English class are going to be chock full of families!! I am so excited!
It was overall just a doggone great week. I hope it was a great week for you too!

Here’s a simple scripture and invitation for this week. Eficaz! The Book of Mormon is so focused on Jesus Christ, and I thought this scripture from Omni this week was a great representation of one of the many repeated invitations of the Book of Mormon, and of our Savior, really! Here it is:
“And now, my beloved brethren, I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved.”
Coming to Christ is offering to Him all that you are. That means offering up all of your greatest talents and skills to helping His children, and also offering up all of your weaknesses and your problems and your sins to Him. Your whole soul is everything that makes you, you! Good and bad.
So, give it all to Him this week. Give up a bad habit, make a focused effort to serve someone specific with one of your mant gifts. I know that you have a gift that someone else needs this week!
I love you all so doggone much! Go make it a great week and give everything you are, your whole sould to Jesus this week! Keep praying, keep going, keep reading, keep fasting! Do all the good things and find out how to drop the bad!
