What’s up everyone!!
Hope you all had an amazing first full week of December, its already blazing by! Things have been going great over here and I hope its great over there too.
I’m super low on time so this’ll be extra express!!
✨️
– Had interviews with President and it was great. I learned a ton from him and the Spirit was super strong. It was a super uplifting talk and he definitely gave me some answers I needed.
– Had a cold the last couple days, woke up today and felt great. P day really is a different kind of medicine
– We taught English class for the first time in our ward!! I think it was just an excuse because the Sisters wanted to learn English… but we had a great turnout and I think it went really well. They almost lost to our 20 questions activity at the end and barely guessed “José José” in time. Even I could’ve gotten that!
– I’ve gained 6 pounds since getting to Montevideo. Yikessss. Once a member or something finally gifts me a stationary bike then I’ll turn it all into some massive quads. Or that’s what I keep telling myself anyways.
– The Secretaries, who share a house with us, managed to forget to pay our light bill. Isn’t that their one job? Went without power for 4 days but the good news, we have a gas boiler so we still had hot water 🙌
– I went on exchanges back to Valle Ceylán with Elder Wetzel!! It was super nostalgic and felt pretty weird but it was so much fun and there were a ton of miracles!! Great to go back for a second!
– Our friends Virginia and Ivana came to church on Sunday again!! They loveddd it and the members were so helpful in getting to know them! This is an amazing ward! The Sunday School teacher saw they were there and did a quick dive into baptism and explaining the why and the how and it was super powerful. They are both super interested and progressing so well, please pray for them!!

Oh man I’m out of time!! Well, I have absolutely loved reading first Nephi again, it’s really pretty crazy how much you can learn reading the same stuff over and over. Only God could make something like that happen. Here’s a great verse from 1st Nephi 13!
“And blessed are they who shall seek to bring forth my Zion at that day, for they shall have the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost; and if they endure unto the end they shall be lifted up at the last day, and shall be saved in the everlasting kingdom of the Lamb; and whoso shall publish peace, yea, tidings of great joy, how beautiful upon the mountains shall they be.”
Oh heck yeah!! That’s such great stuff. So, here’s an invitation that’ll absolutely take you out of your comfort zone but will absolutely strengthen and transform your testimony. Prayerfully find someone to share the gospel with that hasn’t heard it before. Bring forth Zion! Publish peace! Go share your testimony, especially a sincere and simple testimony, to someone who hasn’t listened to the joy you’ve found in the Church of Jesus Christ.
It’ll be hard, it’ll probably feel awkward, and it might require lots of bravery but you can do this!! Thats the joy of understanding the gospel, is that once you know how your life can be changed through Christ, is then you can help everyone else change their lifes through Him too!!
So, go do it!! It’ll be worth it. Best of all, share your stories about it with me afterwards!
Anyways, that’s all for this week! It was a great week and it went by so fast, I love missionary work! I love you all so much too!
Go make it a great week, do good things, and spread the joy of the gospel!
