They are mine

Que rollo amigos!

How’s it going! What’s new? What are the Thanksgiving plans? I hope everyone has had a great week, hope the weather is great and that football is going great. What’s up!!

This past week was pretty quiet but it was good! It’s almost December again which is nuts, its almost Christmas!! And its definitelyyy almost Thanksgiving. Ohh man, everyone go eat some smoked turkey for me!

✨️

– We went on exchanges, I went with Elder Ortega and we went to the hill! I am still so excited to have hill in my area. We saw a ton of miracles, and one of our friends Virginia came to church just a couple days later! She was a miracle in particular, she has so much desire to learn more about the Savior and to create a relationship with Him. Yes!!

– We were out walking in Lindavista and a guy turned in front of us in his Mclaren 720s. Was not expecting to see that at all, such a pretty car! That was pretty exciting!

– We went for a run along the side of the university one morning and it felt so nice. I’ll add a picture of my homemade Strava below. Oooo yeah

– President and Sister Brady took us out to eat lunch this week at Toks!! It was so much fun to meet them more, they are amazing people and so funny, and the food was so good! Even better, a recent convert from Casas Alemán happened to be waiting our table that day and it was so good to see her! She is doing so well and her kids are getting ready to go to FSY! It was so cool!! President Brady’s plack (plaque? Plac? How the heck do you spell that) fell off his suit jacket so the next day we went by and grabbed it for him. They had it waiting!

– Today we went and visited Ivon Vizuet from Casas too and she made us chilaquiles and cried when we all showed up. She is so sweet and it was so good to see them, I forgot how much I missed Casas!

Anyways, it was a really good week! I think that’s just about everything notable that’s happened up to know, please keep our friend Virginia in your prayers!! She has so much potential!

📖

Man, I had some good studying this week and learned a lot of very important things. I absolutely love this gospel. Before I forget, I’d highly recommend you go listen to the talk Why 1820 by a guy named Hyrum Smith (he’s a living guy, not Joseph’s actual brother), whether or not you are particularly interested in the Restoration. It’s an incredibly interesting talk, let me know if you want me to send it to you!

I loveeee Mosiah 26. It may be in my top 5 favorite chapters, it’s so good!

Here’s a few of my favorite verses that the Savior speaks to Alma when He had doubts and felt less than capable. I love it:

“Yea, blessed is this people who are willing to bear my name; for in my name shall they be called; and they are mine.

For behold, this is my church; whosoever is baptized shall be baptized unto repentance. And whomsoever ye receive shall believe in my name; and him will I freely forgive.

For behold, in my name are they called; and if they know me they shall come forth, and shall have a place eternally at my right hand.”

Anyways, I got eight minutes left so I’ll wrap it up here. Remember who you really are. Your potential is unbelievable, infinite, and divine. You are loved! You are known! You are of infinite worth, even on your worst, hardest, saddest days. You are His. You are His child. You are priceless. Don’t forget it, and make sure everyone else out there knows it! The world is an ugly place and can motivate us do ugly things sometimes. Add some light to the world by showing Christ’s pure love by your example in everything you do. You can literally change lives!!

I love you so much. I miss you, I worry over you, I pray for you, I just love you guys! You have unlimited potential! Go let God work some miracles in your life and show you a sliver of what you can become. Be good! Do good. Spread love to all!

And most of all, have an amazing week! Choose joy, find the hand of the Lord, and always remember that you got someone praying for you in Mexico City. I love you!

Talk soon!
